There is more than one dental clinic management system in Lithuania, yet almost no public, concrete comparison of them exists. A clinic owner usually reviews a few vendor websites, books a couple of demos and makes the decision partly blind. In this article we list the main solutions on the market and the criteria worth comparing them by.
This article is written by the DARWA CRM team, so our own system is described in the most detail. About other vendors we write only what they publish themselves (data from September 2026). Prices and features change, so check with the vendor before deciding.
The main solutions in the Lithuanian market
DARWA CRM
A system built and maintained in Lithuania specifically for dental clinics. It runs in a browser, with nothing to install. The price is 26 EUR per month per chair rather than per user, so the whole team can log in. It has a working e-health and IPR IS integration, cash register and payment terminal integrations, document signing on a tablet (DARWA SIGN), SMS communication, payroll calculation and more than 40 reports. The first month is free and the initial setup is done together with the clinic.
ClinicCards
An international dental clinic management system with a Lithuanian website version and clients in Lithuania. It is positioned as a unified clinic management system and mentions data exchange with the e-health system on its website. Pricing is not published publicly – ask the vendor.
Zebracloud
A cloud solution for healthcare providers with a module for dentistry: treatment plans, a dental chart and e-health integration. It suits clinics that offer more than dental services. Pricing is not published publicly.
SoftDent
Lithuanian software for dental clinics, developed by a company based in Kaunas. Do not confuse it with a foreign product of the same name – these are different systems. Pricing is not published publicly.
DentalOnline
A Lithuanian system focused on managing patient bookings, visit reminders and advance patient registration. Its website also mentions e-health. It suits clinics whose main concern is the front desk.
Serve (SoftConsulting)
A general service business management system used by some dental clinics as well. It is strong on calendars, clients and marketing, but it is not a product built for dentistry alone. Quite a few clinics are now moving from it to specialised systems – we cover that separately in data migration from another system.
Comparison table
The table shows only what is published publicly. “Ask vendor” means the vendor does not publish the information on its website, not that the feature is missing.
| System | Origin | Specialisation | Price public | Pricing model |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DARWA CRM | Lithuania | Dentistry only | Yes | 26 EUR/month per chair, unlimited users |
| ClinicCards | International, LT version | Dentistry | No | Ask vendor |
| Zebracloud | Lithuania | Healthcare providers, dental module | No | Ask vendor |
| SoftDent | Lithuania | Dentistry | No | Ask vendor |
| DentalOnline | Lithuania | Dentistry, focus on scheduling | No | Ask vendor |
| Serve | Lithuania | General service business system | No | Ask vendor |
Criteria worth choosing by
1. Price per chair or per user
This usually makes the biggest difference on the invoice. When you pay per user, every new administrator, assistant or dentist raises the monthly fee, so clinics start saving by sharing logins – which is already a data security problem. When you pay per chair, the price does not depend on team size. DARWA CRM costs 26 EUR per month per chair with no limit on users. See the full calculation on the pricing page.
2. E-health and IPR IS integration
Ask directly: is the integration already working or still being built. The difference in daily work is large – a working integration means entering data once, while its absence means double work for the front desk and the dentist. The DARWA CRM e-health and IPR IS integration is live, and the system supports E025, E027 and E003 forms.
3. Cash register and payment integration
If the system does not connect to the cash register, the administrator enters the same amount twice and makes mistakes. DARWA CRM connects to the RASO fiscal cash register, and more than 50 cash register models are supported through these integrations. More on the payments and cash register page.
4. Document signing
Consents, agreements and treatment documents mean dozens of sheets of paper a day. It is worth checking whether the patient can sign on a tablet and whether the signed document lands in the patient card automatically. DARWA CRM uses DARWA SIGN for this.
5. Data security and access rights
Patient data is among the most sensitive there is, so ask about two-factor authentication, separate user accounts for every employee and permission levels. DARWA CRM applies two-factor authentication to users who submit health data, and sessions are valid for a limited time.
6. Support in your language and updates
When the system stops during a working day, what matters is how quickly support answers and whether you speak the same language. A local team also reacts faster to changes in Lithuanian regulations. DARWA CRM is built and maintained in Lithuania, with support in Lithuanian.
7. Moving from an old system
Before signing a contract, find out whether the vendor migrates patient and visit data from your current program. DARWA CRM helps migrate data from Serve, Dental4Windows and other systems.
We will show DARWA CRM using your clinic scenarios and tell you what we would actually migrate.
How to decide in two weeks
A practical plan: in the first week write down what works badly in your clinic today (double booking, paperwork, missing reports) and turn that into a requirements list. In the second week book two or three demos and ask the vendors to show your scenarios rather than a general overview. Ask about the price with all add-ons, the state of the integrations, data migration and support hours. Finally, try the system in real work – only then will you see whether it fits the team.
Frequently asked questions
Which dental clinic management systems are available in Lithuania?
The Lithuanian market includes DARWA CRM, ClinicCards, Zebracloud, SoftDent and DentalOnline, as well as more general systems such as Serve. Some are built in Lithuania, others are international products with a Lithuanian version.
Which dental software is best in Lithuania?
There is no single best one for everyone – choose by pricing model, e-health and cash register integrations, data security and support language. For clinics that value predictable pricing and working state-system integrations, DARWA CRM is one of the strongest options.
How much does a dental clinic management system cost?
Most vendors do not publish prices. The DARWA CRM price is public: 26 EUR per month per chair with unlimited users, and the first month is free.
How do I move from Serve to another clinic system?
Patient and visit data is migrated from the old program and the initial setup is done together with the clinic, so long downtime is not needed. More on the data migration page.
Does a clinic management system need to connect to e-health?
In practice, yes. Without the integration the same data has to be entered both in the clinic program and in e-health, which takes dentist time and increases the chance of errors.
Does the system need to be installed on a computer?
Modern solutions run in a browser. DARWA CRM needs no installation and can be accessed from any computer or mobile device.
Summary
Lithuanian clinics have options, but the solutions differ less in feature lists than in pricing model, integration maturity and support quality. Before signing, check four things: how the price is calculated, whether the e-health and IPR IS integrations already work, whether the system connects to your cash register, and how data migration will run. Get in touch and we will show how DARWA CRM looks in your clinic day. More criteria are in the article on how to choose a dental clinic management system.
